Why did you decide start personal training and wellness coaching?      
To lose weight and build and maintain a healthy body.

What goals did you have when you first met Chris?     Nad4
Lose weight, increase my fitness and build muscle.

What changes or achievements do you feel you’ve made to your fitness and well-being to date?            
I have lost 8kgs and built muscle and strength, as well as improving my fitness measured using my heart rate monitor.

How do you feel now, compared to before you started your program? 
Energetic and focused.

What sort of training have you been doing?
Cardio, lifting weights and yogalates.

How many sessions do you do each week?         
Up to five sessions a week.

Do you train on your own sometimes? Or do you only do the sessions with Chris?        
I do train on my own as well now, after training with Chris for 18 months.

How do you find the nutritional program and guidance?      
I’ve learned that maintaining good nutrition will eventually yield the results.

What line has Chris used during training that made you chuckle or roll your eyes?
“We are just warming up” – half way through a training session

What are your favourite words of wisdom from Chris that have really struck a chord for you?
“Yoga is the fountain of youth”
“Doing something is better than nothing”

How has Chris helped or supported you with achieving your goals?     
Motivation is what I needed the most and Chris has an amazing gift to motivate people. He also keeps up with his clients and makes a big effort to get to know them, their life and their goals and this helped me to achieve my goals. My success is also his success.

What part of your training program do you enjoy most?          Nad3
The end of the session when I feel tired but am excited that I got through it and am motivated to do more.

What part of your training program do you enjoy least?
When I am not up to the task and struggle a little bit. I would also say that cardio is the least enjoyable; however Chris has his own style to make the time pass without noticing, especially on the treadmill.

How did you find out about Chris?          
He is the first trainer I met at Healthstream. It was an unexpected coincidence that turned my life to better one.

Would you recommend Chris to your friends and family? Have you recommended Chris to your friends and family?      
Yes I have definitely recommended Chris many times to my colleagues and friends.

What’s your next health and fitness goal and how are you planning to achieve it?            
My next goal is to improve my fitness further and increase my muscle mass more. I also want to get certified as a yoga teacher.

How has your life changed since you started your program? How do you feel?
It changed my entire lifestyle, as I take my nutrition and fitness seriously, more than ever, and I work hard to maintain a healthy body.

Any other experiences, thoughts or background you’d like to share?     
Chris has a vision for every client he works with. He knows what exercise suits my needs.  He is also unique personal trainer as he combines fitness, strength and flexibility as well as nutritional information, knowledge and motivation.
